Honduras

With Caribbean Sea coastlines to the north and Pacific Ocean coastlines to the south, Honduras has something to interest every visitor. Inland from the Pacific Ocean, the country boasts the ancient Mayan ceremonial site of Copán. The site contains stone-carved hieroglyphs and tall stone monuments. El Salvador

One of the most popular celebrations in Honduras is the San Miguel Carnival. This festival is celebrated every November in the town of La Ceiba and attracts about 2 million visitors. Unlike other Central American carnivals, the San Miguel Carnival is not held close to Lent. During the event, the town turns into a giant stage for the parades and other activities. El Salvador's Fiestas Agostinas

El Salvador's Fiestas Agestinas holiday is one of the most important festivals, lasting a week in August. This celebration honors the country's patron saint, Jesus Christ, known as El Salvador del Mundo.
